True Medusa Pictures operates under a unique creator-collective business structure where fellow creatives in the video production industry pool their skills together to make great content for their clients. We each own our own businesses but come together to strategize and create amazing videos together.
Each creative member has full autonomy over their time and capacity and are only enlisted when their skills are needed. This creates a type of a-la-carte client experience, lets us adapt easily to all types of budgets, creates totally unique projects, and reduces costs across the board.
We each have unique skills and hobbies so get to know us! We can't wait to hear your story as well.

Sophie Strauss

Sophie started her career working as a videojournalist for newspapers in Minneapolis and Denver before becoming a TV show editor, then the senior editor of a client-driven video production company. Through career shifts, she has never lost her passion for story-building and now works to combine the two fields. She is dedicated to the human element within every project that crosses her path. The fast-paced world of the 24-hour news cycle has made her a decisive and energetic editor motivated by tight deadlines and complex stories. Sophie regularly shoots and directs her own projects and loves to enlist other creatives with different styles than her own.

Tijen has always had a knack for getting things done and making things better, whatever the context. She has spent most of her career in project and program management across companies in technology, leadership development, and medical device. Tijen is highly creative and compliments her corporate career with a life as professional dancer, choreographer, and model in New York City. She is passionate about storytelling and self exploration through visual arts. In everything she does, she promotes community, confidence, and connectedness.

To take her passion to the world, she created The Social Community, a boutique social media marketing agency that serves small business owners and non-profit organizations in the Greater Denver area and beyond. There is nothing she loves more than finding new and creative ways to showcase a brand’s offerings and values through content in an aesthetic, authentic way.
